In 2007, J. Rex Parent, M.D. of Fort Wayne Ophthalmology and The Eye Center Group announced the successful merger of their eye care practices to form Fort Wayne Eye Center, providing more access to highly trained ophthalmic specialists to the Fort Wayne area.
